"On Friday, CBSSports.com's Mike Freeman reported that Oregon coach Chip Kelly and the Browns were close to signing an agreement to make Kelly the new head coach in Cleveland.
Kelly apparently doesn't feel ready to commit quite yet.
That's why, as Freeman reported Saturday, the Eagles are flying to Arizona to interview Kelly, and according to the Philadelphia Inquirer, Kelly also has interviewed with the Bills. Kelly reportedly will make the decision on his coaching future by Saturday night, but he promised to keep his interviews with all three suitors.
"The Eagles are committed to finding the right fit for their head coach and are heading to Arizona now to kick off a week of interviews with a variety of candidates including Mike McCoy, Bruce Arians and Gus Bradley," the Eagles said in a statement.
Interesting, of course, that they don't mention Kelly by name, right?
